Contents Page Annotation

Yes, the magazine conveys the contents page with many images to show different articles within the magazine to give a foreshadowing preview to the magazine. The images have been laid out in a way that makes the contents come across as abstract in a paradigmatic way to make the images more noticeable. In total the contents shows 9 images from articles that follow in the magazine. This shows the magazine different things to attract all the audiences widening the range of the target audience.

The main colours used with in the page are white black and red which are the magazines known colours, mainly because red is seen as a fiery colour to attract attention and because it could mean fiery gossip. The images relate to the front cover by having the front cover on the page with all main things in bold writing like the subheadings on the front cover developing a glamorous theme within the magazine of being gossip related but glamorous at the same time.

The contents is arrange with images to show the different articles appealing to many different target audiences and is arrange with big bold black writing to indicate the articles on each page. This shows the magazine has a lot within it containing a lot of information, gossip and is filled full of stuff that the audience want to read. The contents is constructed very well here because it shows that the magazine has a lot to read to get the reader to buy it to show they get there moneys worth.

No, the magazine only shows pictures from articles in the magazine with mini reviews and incites into the articles within the magazine. In a way the only promotional thing shown is the promotional preview of the articles within the magazine.

The magazine logo is presented twice in its regular position of the top left corner as its trademark position. It does not represent any other logos to steal its limelight from the magazine. The magazine does promote other brand but not on the contents page they are shown generally at the back of the magazine. The trademark position of the logo does not really dominate the page but it is still recognisable to show you it is there to stand out.
